A Place Where Every Child Belongs

Kodiak Child Development Center was founded on a simple conviction: the earliest years shape everything that follows. Located within the JB Elmendorf Richardson community in Anchorage, we've spent over 15 years providing a safe, stimulating environment where children develop the social, emotional, and cognitive foundations they'll carry for life.

Our team of trained early childhood educators brings passion and expertise to every interaction. We don't just watch children — we observe, we respond, and we design experiences that meet each child exactly where they are and gently guide them forward.
